March 29, 2010

We have a short, but busy week this week. Thursday we have a noon dismissal and no school on Friday. Keep on top of your work and wisely use the time given to you in class and you should be just fine!
Geography
We are working on Chapter 25 this week. The test will be Thursday, April 1st. The study guide will be due then. Remember, there is a map test over Central and East Asia on Tuesday, March 30th.
Science
The pendulum lab we did in class last week in due Monday. If you missed the lab, Mr. Hess will have a make-up after school on Tuesday. If that does not work for you, you must make arrangements with Mr. Hess before Tuesday. There are several book questions that will be due Thursday, April 1st. The questions are as follows: p. 462 #1-4, 6; p. 468 #1, 3, 4; p. 471 #1-8; p. 478 #1-8; p. 480 #1-12, 14, 17; p. 481 #20, 22-27, 29. Everything that should be in your notebook for this unit so far is list on the board in Mr. Hess' room or in Mrs. Drake's room.
English
In English, we are still working on reading Romeo and Juliet as well as working on the Research Paper. We are writing a research paper on a career. The key components that must be included in the paper are: a Title Page, a minimum of 2 pages, 4 resources, and a Bibliography. The paper will probably be due some time next week. If you have questions, be sure to ask.
